Alina, the profound response I had to your article has forced me to respond and thank you. As an avid reader my entire life, I still remember the day I even considered writing for the first time, and yet, knowing the incredible miracle that must manifest from that process (being able to - "just sit down to write, and everything they write is wonderful from the first time they put it on paper") and knowing that this was not possible from my past experience...it has been a simultaneously terrifying and deeply satisfying process of coming to grips with "they work at it and struggle and create draft, after draft, or that they do extensive edits"...which seemed like a thing I almost didn't dare hope I could do. Our willingness to not be able to "magically...just create these outstanding works of art from the get go" is the step I resisted for so long but once having crossed this bridge, it goes up in the flame of our own self-realization and we can never go back to the place of not-enoughness. Thank you...many blessings!
