I love this! So true and beautifully put. I think our society has become so unbalanced because in this secular age it doesn't recognise the numinous, all that is invisible. I think of Jung and the collective unconscious, and the way he saw our task which is to make more of this realm conscious. Tarot, astrology, alchemy are tools for this process, pondering the archetypes that underlie our waking minds. Dreaming too. If we all studied such things we would understand ourselves better and there would be an end to war, the destruction of the natural world and all that comes from not recognising the beauty that we are.

Alchemy, divination magic, all tgesecthings add to tge poetic and enchantment in life.Logically this doesn't make sense when you follow a reductionist thought process. How can it make sense? But if you pan out anfld lookat tge benefits it makes complete sense.I use this stuff daily and I have purpose, meaning in life, i have wonderful friendships, a supportive community,I am able to process my emotions and thoughts,I am mentally stable and I love the world and the people around me.And this is a result of what could be termed:'meaningless' practice. Why would we even think this? Because it doesn't fit in with paying the bills?or the respectability of having a 'real job?'.So many people just go along with a life without enchantment.Driving to work, working in souless offices, their minds elsewhere rather than in the moment because of the ennui of modern life.Surely this is a lifestyle closer to meaningless.Lets us embrace enchantment, magic and wonder and let's us share it with others who want it to!
