New Year, Old Me, Same Resolutions!

Initially I wanted to write a post about a movie I have re-seen recently, but then I though, it is the 31st of Dec, that cannot be ignored! Especially seeing how I am not ignoring it myself!

Somehow, I am hyper aware a year is ending and a new one beginning. Getting older I assume!

I have high hopes for this new year, and I also have a lingering feeling of sadness, because I had high hopes for other years and they did not materialize, or better said I did not make them materialize.

I need to be true and take accountability for my misses.

What is comforting, and maybe a bit sad, is that each year I have more or less the same resolutions. Every year I say, this is the year that I will move mountains, and I don’t, and then another year rolls by and I am faced with the same unaccomplished resolutions, unfulfilled dreams.

This year will be different! I have to believe that and I want to work at it to be true!

Will it be different?

I honestly do not know, but what I do know is that I will try. Yet again I will try, give it my best shot to be the best human I can be.

I recently started reading about something that might actually support me in my world building (out and in), so there is already a difference to other beginnings.

Will see, I will tell you more, once I know more about it and I am more confident talking about it.

My Tarot card for 2025 is Judgement:

I have read about the card in all my books and resources, and trust me they are many. The card points to an impactful spiritual shift and awakening.

2025 already sounds intriguing.

To be fair, the most important thing for me is that all my peeps are healthy and happy, because we can navigate whatever else happens for better or for worse.

For me Maslow’s hierarchy of needs has an additional layer, their well being.
